Rose plastic: Sustainability written large – no matter the size

Sensitive tools must be protected from mechanical stress and contamination. The focus is on safety for users and utensils, as well as usability: it has to be simple and easy, because this saves time and nerves. rose plastic is a long-standing customer of KRAIBURG TPE and is regarded worldwide as a leader in high-quality rigid plastic packaging for the tool industry.

The company, based in the Bavarian town of Hergensweiler near Lindau, is also pushing sustainable plastic packaging and will in future be using Universal PCR TPE from KRAIBURG TPE for its "ProtectiveCaps" in sizes 1 to 12. This means that the caps are made from up to 40% recycled plastic. The use of recycled plastic in the manufacture of packaging helps the environment. Valuable raw materials are preserved and CO2 emissions are reduced. In addition, less new plastic is produced.

"The demand for packaging with recycled content is increasing. In order to provide our customers with the best possible support, we are expanding our range accordingly," says Mario Wüffel, Head of Development at rose plastic. "Quality is our top priority. That's why we're thrilled not to have to make any compromises in terms of workmanship and mechanics, while maintaining a balanced price-performance ratio," Wüffel concludes.

The fact that rose plastic has chosen Universal PCR TPE makes me particularly happy. The cooperation has always been very cooperative, and this step towards a more sustainable packaging world sets the right incentives. We see Universal PCR TPE bringing area-wide benefits for industrial and consumer applications. Together with our European customers, we want to test the limits of what is possible and go one step further in sustainable product alternatives.

Specially developed for consumer and industrial applications, KRAIBURG TPE's thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) contains up to 40% post-consumer recyclate (PCR). In accordance with ISO 14021, KRAIBURG TPE recycles material that can no longer be used for its intended purpose by end consumers in households and industry. Product managers benefit from consistent, high quality and availability in Europe. REACH and RoHS conformities can be issued if required and upon request.
